New Construction & Additions
Building from the ground up is where design and construction most need to be the same conversation. Structural decisions, material choices and the way a finished room feels are not separate problems, and when the person who drew it is the person building it, nothing gets lost in the handoff.
The project below is a barn outside Philadelphia turned into a full home — timber frame left exposed and made the feature rather than hidden behind drywall, a double-height great room built around a stone fireplace, and an open-riser stair with cable rail tying the two floors together. Framing through finish, about a year of work.
We take on additions, whole-house builds and conversions across Chestnut Hill, Mt. Airy, Wyndmoor, Flourtown and the wider Philadelphia area.
